Donations for those who need support

Donations come in different shapes and sizes.  Initially, cash is required to assist people who have been tragically affected, get something to bring about a small sense of normality, be able to start planning, or reevaluate their situation.

The government in Australia has been working hard at pushing through legislation to help those affect and with only one week passing of this terrible event, emergency funds have started to flow through. I'm inspired to hear this.

But what about as time goes on, our community will need to support those as we have close to 2,000 homes completely gone from existance with a mere handful of memories left for a small few.  There are oaver 7,000 people displaced, needing to rebuild their homes - whether it be in the township they sadly lost or for some, who feel they cannot go back, elsewhere.

This donations page is not abou money - it's for website visitors who have some good quality, useable items that may be of use, even if temporarily, for people who have been sufferers of this event, to utilise.  It could be something small as a good unwanted and outgrown bike for a child, through to more substantial things in the line of building materials, machinery, equipment, whatever you think a home needs, we have around 2,000 homes that might need something.
